Google Analytics and Verification Code
These entries are completely optional and have no normal influence on your search ranking. Many users like to use Google Analytics, however, and you can sign up for a Google Analytics account and enter your personal code here. It will give you additional logging statistics about your site. We have a built-in site statistics setup (under "Report"), but Google Analytics can give you extra information. All of your pages will be linked in with their analytics system after you enter your code.
The "Google Verification Code" entry area is for users who want to use some of the Goggle Webmaster tools.
